Northern Lights

  • Northern Lights

Rich, bold and confident, Scotland's design creativity is making an ever greater impact. Ahead of opening in 2018, the creative team behind the development of V&A Museum of Design Dundee expose the current strengths of contemporary Scottish design talent and production, its vital role in our economy and its connectivity around the world.

Featuring the work of designers who have chosen to stay in Scotland to build their careers, Northern Lights makes a statement about contemporary Scottish design, encompassing a range of designers from a variety of fields, including fashion, furniture, interiors, product and jewellery.

Northern Lights is a partnership between V&A Dundee, Scottish Enterprise and Creative Dundee as part of the Scottish Government's Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design 2016, a celebration of the nation's global contributions to architectre, design, engineering and science.
